PaPa Kris

Name: PaPa (Kris)

Career: Upon graduation I attended a Technical School studying Diesel Mechanics. I then started at Vulcraft when the plant opened and was a Leadman there over the riggers. I helped my father-in-law on the side at his Autobody repair shop, and that started my love of automobiles and the career to which I have been involved for 35 years. We purchased the shop from him when he retired and I decided to leave the same name (Bobs Body Shop) in honor of him. Me and my wife have worked side by side for 30 years, running a very successful business. Has it always been easy - probably not, but worth it - definitely so. I have instilled this love of the Autobody business in my son and nephew who work by my side daily also. Proud to say it will continue on as a third generation business.

Favorite food: Mexican is probably at the top, but I am a true meat and potatoes man. I love a good hamburger and like to try new things when we are traveling. Love pumpkin- chocolate chips cookies and ice cream. Was raised with a mother that thought sweets were food! Overall I am not a picky eater and will everything at least once.

Hobbies: My family would probably say antiquing is at the top of the list. I like to collect old things and refurbish them. I love tinkering, working with wood, seeing something and building it myself rather than buying it. There is really nothing I have not tried or taught myself how to do. I love gardening, working in the yard, traveling, reading, and learning more about history. My family is also my #1 hobby - I love showing my kids how to do new things and helping them with there projects.

Favorite vacation: Our trip to Mexico was my favorite, I enjoyed learning about the Myan people and there culture. Making new friends with some special Mexican people working there and learning about their lives. I also loved our trip to New Mexico, where we traveled thru Sedona, Arizona totally breathe taking and absolutely beautiful. Love to take off on unplanned road trips with my wife.

About me: I am what most people would call quiet, until I get to know you then I talk more. I love meeting and getting to know new people and building lasting relationships. I have a big heart, and am sensitive to others needs. Have always found it very important to help those in need. Do a lot of silent acts of kindness, to which I hope I have instilled in my children that same trait. Love being a doer instead of a taker. I am very goal oriented and organized, and try to accomplish all I set out to do. I like to joke and have fun.

About me: I too married my high school sweetheart. We have been happily married for 35 years, and i am looking forward to many more ahead. I love spending time with my wife as we share a lot of the same interests. There really isn't much I do that don't involve my wife or my kids and grand kids. They are truly my life, and I love every minute I get to spend with them. Not many grandparents get to say they see their grandchildren everyday, absolutely blessed to have this opportunity. I have tried to teach my children honesty, generosity, integrity, humility, and most of all love. My wife is my strength and best friend. She gets me when I sometimes question myself. We have been blessed with two beautiful children Shalee & Tyson. They have brought me so much joy. Watching my daughter complete her Masters of Special Education and have a very successful career, and my son continue on in my footsteps in taking over the family business is the greatest blessing a Dad could ask for.
They have both brought special mates into our family Josh & Teanna and my two beautiful granddaughters. Josh and Teanna have contributed such love, fun, happiness and joy to our family. And my granddaughters are the light of my life, never would I have imagined that grandchildren would bring us so much joy. I cannot wait for Josh & Shalee to add many more to our lives. I came from a family of three boys, me being the middle man. We did not travel a lot when I was growing up, but have learned to love it being married. We had a family farm which I grew up on working along side my grandpa and loved every minute of it. My grandparents were an important part of my life, I cherish everything they taught me about hard work. My father is deceased and I miss him greatly. My mother is now in an assisted living struggling with Alzheimer's. Breaks my heart to have to see her this way.

Words to baby Knowles: PaPa is anxiously awaiting another special grand baby to spoil.
Josh & Shalee have worked hard to prepare for your arrival and are thrilled to be able to give you and provide you with all life has to offer. They absolutely adore children which is evidenced with how they treat there nieces and cousins. Sleepovers, movies, picnics, crafts, and extended play dates are shared with them regularly. Grandma and I have a little problem spoiling our grandchildren, but hey that's what life is all about. We hope to have you enter our lives real soon so we can love you, teach you, hold you, comfort you, and receive all the blessings you have to offer us.

NaNa Bambi

Name: NaNa (Bambi) Career: In the past I have had the pleasure of working in the school district doing the lunch clerical job. Where I loved being able to get to know all the kids on a one on one basis. These relationships I made have continued on thru the years where I now see these kids married and starting families. My career took a change when my husband bought my fathers Auto Body Repair business 30 years ago. I have had the wonderful blessing of working by my husbands side managing the front office during these years. Favorite food: I'm probably a Mexican kinda girl. But love to try new salads and other dishes as long as someone else is fixing them! I would rather have a cookie or a finger treat rather than cake, pie, and ice cream (totally opposite of the rest of my family) Hobbies: My first and foremost is the love of yard work. Kris & I both grew up in families where beautiful yards where important. I love canning the great things grown in our garden and orchard,...
